Our hometown is often somewhere we'll return to throughout our lives. It's the place where we first learn about ourselves, our relationship with others and the world around us. The memories we form there will always have special significance, no matter where we go.

 

When you're from a small town, this sense of belonging and identity is often magnified. You know the historic landmarks, local legends and unique culture like the back of your hand. The fabric of your town is innate and you know it so well, it's like no other.

Love Letters to my Hometown celebrates this bond by exploring the stories of small town life. They are stories of growing up; natural beauty; history; nostalgia and comfort. They map joy and frustrations and journeys to and from, but what they always return to is our ability to belong — to love somewhere unconditionally.
